Help Needed for an Injured Officer
The Barrington FOP is asking for your help, as a fellow officer from the Lake Zurich Police Department has been seriously injured in a traffic accident on his way to work.
Steve Cascio, a six year veteran officer of the Lake Zurich Police Department, was involved in a catastrophic motor vehicle crash while on his way to work. He was entrapped in his vehicle for an extended period of time and airlifted to a trauma center. Steve sustained a compound fracture to his shin, fractures to his right knee, femur, arm, and ribs. Steve's injuries will require an extensive hospital stay and a long recovery.
Steve is a loving husband to Stephanie, a stay-at-home mom, who cares for their two young children, Eva and Jimmy. He is a great friend and an active member of his church. He is assigned to the Traffic Safety Division, is a field training officer, and a peer support member.
Click here to donate to assist Steve and his family.
This fundraiser will be used to support Steve's family in the coming weeks and months to handle their living expenses as Stephanie manages caring for Steve and their children. Please help our brother officer and his family in his hour of need.
If you can't donate, could you share this with everyone you know? We want to make sure Steve and his family don't have any financial worries during this stressful time.
Thank you,
The Barrington FOP
